Oark Café

In recent years, the Oark General Store has become an attractive destination for both on and off-road travelers due to its location along windy and dramatic Ozark highways.

The Store has transitioned from mainly groceries and supplies to a full-service restaurant, serving fresh quality ingredients with a smile.

Its a one-of-a-kind drive-to-eat experience everyone must try.

Aligator Rays

Chef Stephen “Steve” Daney, known for 20+ years of culinary expertise, is celebrated for his New Orleans-style cuisine at Alligator Ray’s.

Formerly the mayor’s chef in New Orleans, he hosted prestigious guests and prepared meals for presidents.

With a rich career spanning Arkansas restaurants, Daney continues to impress with his Cajun and soulful creations.

Wiederkehr Restaurant

Discover the Swiss winemaking heritage of Wiederkehr Wine Cellars. The oldest and largest winery in mid-America, Wiederkehr Wine Cellars is located on the southern slopes of the Ozark Mountains.

Here atop St. Mary’s Mountain is where the Wiederkehr family carries on a tradition begun in 1880.

Lovingly tended vineyards surround the winery, designed in the Swiss alpine style overlooking the Arkansas River valley. Learn more about the history of our family, our winery, and our winemaking philosophy.

Keeping with tradition since 2008 we strive to serve the best food, at the best price, and earn your business with each visit.

We believe in quality first, so we use Iowa Premium Certified Angus Beef aged at least thirty days. We cut our steaks daily, on site from beef that has never been frozen.
